"Sunflower Veg is the most phenomenal vegetarian restaurant ever ... but more than that, it is just a great place to eat in general! Everything is organic, natural, and best of all, super tasty! My meat-loving friend got the General Tso's and could not put his fork down. He said it was the best he'd ever had - even the "chicken" tasted better! Haha. I had the Daily Lunch Deal, which is a really amazing sushi bento box that I highly recommend. The Bancha tea is just like what I drank in Japan and the steamed dumplings a must! This was my first visit, and I'm already planning my second! I can't wait to try everything on the menu!" |

"I was a vegetarian for 7 years, and I practically lived at this restaurant at the time. My parents, who are not vegetarians, were overjoyed when they found a place that we could all eat comfortably. I've taken non-vegetarian friends too and they couldn't believe how good everything was! I now live in North Carolina, but every time I'm in town I make sure to go at least once. My favorites include the General Tsos, Songbird and Sunflower Surprise. The only "bad" thing I can say about this restaurant is that the desserts leave something to be desired - taste perhaps? Other than that this place rocks!" |

"My daughter is a vegan and many times vegetarian restaurants do not have much of a selection for her but Sunflower is totally vegan and has wonderful food that everyone - including non-vegetarians -love. It has a warm and friendly staff. A creative, extensive and interesting menu. It's developed quite a following over the years for those of us living in the DC area." |
