"All vegan with lots of mock meat, chicken, and seafood entrées and appetizers. The mock cold duck appetizer was not as good as I have tried elsewhere and not recommended. Main dish of homemade mock meatballs in a clay pot was quite tasty, with interesting Chinese broccoli, and a decent sized portion. Their fruit smoothie was also good. Friendly service. I hope to return. HB is located in the heart of the "Chinatown" area of Flushing, so parking can be tight, but they have a free parking arrangement with a garage nearby. Note that a few miles away is vegeeats.com's walk in store where you can get mock meat and vegetarian items in bulk at great prices."

"Ate at the Happy Buddha Vegetarian Restaurant for the first time last night. The food was excellent! We had the owner suggest different items from the menu and each and every one of them were scrumptous. I am looking forward to 2 weeks from now to bring a group of my friends. The food was fresh, tasty and deeelicious."
