"Palace of Asia is one of the most delicicous Indian restaurants in the area for vegetarian cuisines. Over 1/2 the menu is vegetarian and with many of the staff being vegetarian themselves, it is very vegetarian friendly. Best of all, the food is creamy, rich and delicious. Eating by the river is a highlight. Very royal-touch restaurant out in the middle of no-where. Very, very nice."

"We have been enchanted fans of Palace of Asia as soon as it came here. This is a humble looking restaurant next to a motel from the outside - situation across the lovely Cooper River. But don't let its wallflower exterior fool you: this is the real deal. The same Palace at the Ben's and the POA famous chains.

The food is just exquisite and creamy! This chef knows what he's doing. It reminds us of the wedding feasts we had in the Delhi Taj. We are 100% vegetarians and know nearly half the entrees are vegetarian. Moreover, the chef is very friendly to cook the meals exactly the way you want. Very creamy and fresh - all with the right spice blends.

Our favories ever are the samosas (crispy potatoe turnovers) and dahi-baras (tomato yougurt based dumplings). And the ultimate is the buffet by a sunny day by the river. The vegetarian samplings are the best."
