    COMMENTS FROM VegDining.com VISITORS:
"After wandering up and down the area of the boardwalk in Atlantic City looking for this restaurant and all but giving up we finally found the entrance to it inside the building and tucked behind some stairs. So definitely more signage needed. Having said that the food was absolutely delicious. The Punjabi roti with the mustard greens (sarso) was so good we should have ordered two and taken one serve home. Order lots and enjoy leftovers."

"If you're in the casinos on the Boardwalk and you're looking for something other than standard American cuisine, this is a pretty good Indian restaurant on the Boardwalk side of the Taj Mahal casino.

The clientele seems to include a lot of Indian folks, which is always a good sign. Decor includes a mockup of the Taj Mahal, and the view of the boardwalk includes the ocean, which is nice.

My companion and I enjoyed our dinner; we got aloo gobi (potatoes and chickpeas in a curry sauce), samosa, and garlic naan. The garlic naan was well executed and fluffy; the papadam that came before the meal were good (crisp, not at all tough), and the spices in the samosa and the aloo gobi were nice, fairly mild, and just a little different than what we're used to.

The portions are large enough to serve two, but if you're hungry you will want to order separate dishes. The prices are rather high for an Indian restaurant but par for the course for a restaurant inside a casino. (Mango lassi: $7.) One complaint: we practically had to send up a flare to get our check."
