    COMMENTS FROM VegDining.com VISITORS:
"I went back with two friends for dinner. They've just remodeled; the place is a repurposed industrial looking space. I'd recommend sitting under the skylight; we were across from the bar and it was a little dark.

As soon as we told the waitress we wanted vegetarian Thai rolls, she asked "Oh, are you vegetarian? I'll make sure there isn't any fish sauce in your food." Love it! She informed us that yellow and panang curry are inherently veg; green and red curry contain a small amount of shrimp paste. I'll take that knowledge with me and use it elsewhere.

The food was delicious and the portions reasonable, though we all had to ask for a box. One of my friends had the "Orchid Chicken" made with tofu instead; it arrived in half a pineapple, bordered with kale and a small simple orchid. The thai rolls are tiny fried egg rolls; they were good but unexceptional. The spinach rolls (spinach menang? I should have written it down), which you assemble yourself, were delicious and a real standout. Ours came with peanut sauce as we told her we were vegetarian; you put bits of garlic, lime, Thai chilis, peanuts, and toasted coconut on a spinach leaf, top with the sauce, roll it up and enjoy. Wonderful and fun to eat!

Entrées for dinner run $8.95-$10.95. Desserts are mostly standard high-end European (flourless chocolate cake, molten chocolate cake) but include a traditional choice (mango with sticky rice; quite good if you like sticky rice) and a fusion option: a green tea cheesecake (which we didn't try). We had the molten and the flourless cakes, and also tried a white chocolate strawberry shortcake. The shortcake was nice but unexceptional; the flourless cake topped with mousse was nice, but not outstanding; the molten chocolate cake was really quite nice. Dessert portions are smaller than the giant portions some restaurants serve, which is a relief if you've just eaten large quantities of excellent Thai food."

"My sister and I took our mother here for her birthday shortly after it opened. It's a very nice Thai place; like most Thai restaurants you can get pretty much anything with tofu instead of the various meats. The only other Thai place I know of downtown my family tells me has really gone downhill so we don't go there any more.

Nice ambience; decor was understated and professionally nice-looking (as opposed to funky or ethnic) with really pretty dinnerware I wanted to ask if I could purchase a setting of. It's located in the old Federal Building in the Haymarket, sort of tucked in the back, so you may have trouble finding it - look for the bright blue awning and be prepared to take a couple of wrong turns on the one-way streets."
