COMMENTS FROM VegDining.com VISITORS: |
"Amazing! Thought I'd miss sushi most of all before going vegan. These guys make you forget all about hamachi & unagi. They make Japanese food that's better than the raw fish variety (which frankly no longer seems appealing so that's lucky!) No reservations, must wait for the 12 seats at tables or 10 seats at the bar." |

"My friend and I were called in first since I signed up on the sheet for dinner early. We ordered a lot of sushi. There were many innovative rolls. Japanese food in general is costly though, so no surprise there. My friend treated me though for my birthday so that was nice. I enjoyed the service and atmosphere." |

"One review of Cha-Ya in Berkeley, California claims that it's the only vegan restaurant in the Berkeley area. There are actually two others within 3 blocks of Cha-Ya. There's "Vegi Food" on Vine at Shattuck, and "Cafe Grattitude" on Shattuck." |
